Victoria Newman

Victoria Newman joined Zinober, Diana & Monteverde, P.A. as an Associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office where she concentrates her practice on the defense of complex construction defect litigation. Victoria represents general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and design professionals in matters involving alleged construction defects, contractual disputes, negligence claims, and other complex construction-related matters throughout Florida.

Prior to joining the firm, Victoria practiced in labor and employment defense where she represented private employers and government agencies in litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, disability accommodation, and civil rights claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the American Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and 42 U.S.C. § 1983. She also has extensive experience handling first-party property insurance litigation, representing both insurers and policyholders in coverage disputes across Florida. Her diverse litigation background provides her with a broad perspective and strategic approach to complex civil matters.

Before entering the legal profession, Victoria served in the United States Navy, managing maintenance operations and personnel in support of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in the Middle East. Her military service instilled the discipline, leadership, and attention to detail that continue to shape her approach to the practice of law and her commitment to client service.

Victoria earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts in Global Leadership with a concentration in Ethics and Philosophy, from St. Thomas University. Victoria is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
