Gabrielle Geiger

Biography

Gabrielle Geiger joined Zinober Diana & Monteverde after practicing as an Assistant Public Defender for two years under the Honorable Sara Mollo, Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where she represented hundreds of accused persons charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes in Pinellas County. Before being promoted to felony practice in Circuit Court, Gabrielle was assigned to the County Court Domestic Violence Criminal Division, where she defended clients dealing with serious charges that involved complex family dynamics.

Gabrielle is a sixth-generation, Stuart, Florida native. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa; she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish. Gabrielle has been fluent in Spanish since she was fifteen years old. After working in retail management and as a legal assistant for a few years post-undergrad, Gabrielle decided to go to law school. Gabrielle graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2024 with a Social Justice Advocacy Concentration certificate.She received several scholarships and awards while at Stetson including the Paul Barnard Award for Clinical Excellence, the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award, the Student Leadership Development Committee certificate, the Briant Spratling Civil Rights and the Law travel course scholarship, the Pinellas Florida Association for Women Lawyers law student scholarship, the Federal Bar Association Criminal Law Section Public Service scholarship, and recognition for her time as Treasurer for the Parents Attending Law School student organization. While at Stetson, Gabrielle devoted many hours of her time as a volunteer with CASA, and she still assists with events and planning as a CASA volunteer to this day.

During her time at Stetson, Gabrielle had the privilege to work as a Research Assistant for Professor Rozelle and as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Flowers. Additionally, Gabrielle participated in the student clinic at the Public Defender’s Office as a Certified Legal Intern where she worked dozens of real cases and sat second chair for two trials prior to graduation. Gabrielle continues to enjoy being a mentor to Stetson students, and she is frequently asked to return to campus and speak about her experiences.

Outside of the office Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Old Florida sites, going to the beach, reading, and working on never-ending home improvement projects in her historic house.
